
Born in Geilsingen, Germany, Ebru Keskin, better known as Ebru Musiq, has proven herself to be more than just another pretty face. At an early age, this Turkish bred pop-phenom knew exactly what she needed to do to make a world-wide impact on the music industry. This KissFM’s 2006 German Newcomer of the Year and Missy Elliott’s self-proclaimed “Golden Microphone” is finally ready to show why heavyweights such as Queen Latifah and Bryan Michael-Cox have backed this rising starlet.
With the support of her peers and her whopping 7.5 million Myspace plays and millions of Youtube views, Ebru has always found herself taking the necessary risks to follow her dreams. Ebru embarked on her journey to stardom at the age of seven, professionally training in jazz dance, belly-dancing, and hip-hop. Participating in local talent showcases and festivals across Europe and the US, she has evolved as a ready-made performer. Her versatility in dancing styles singing experience has exposed her to diversity of eclectic sounds, which can be heard vividly in her music today.
Fresh off of her recent departure of Queen Latifah’s Flavor Unit Recording Label, Ebru has been on a constant hustle writing her own songs with established hit makers such as Drumma Boy (50 Cent/Lil Wayne), The Ambience Production (Rihanna), Hollywood Hotsauce (Chris Brown, P. Diddy), and Bangladesh (Beyonce, Ke$ha) just to name a few. With the respect and blessings of such an all-star, Grammy-award winning roster, Ebru is on her way to becoming the next big superstar. She also shows a large interest and talent in film and television, and has played in a small scene in the upcoming VH1 series “Single Ladies” and will be featured on BET’s “The Game.” She has also penned roles in American Reunion and Tyler Perry’s latest “The Marriage Counselor” alongside of Kim Kardashian.
